A Peruvian transport company announced that will convert all their buses’ fleet to NGV

 

The company, dedicated to San Felipe Express’s transport, presented their new NGV propulsion buses, which two of them are already travelling around Lima’s streets, covering the Villa El Salvador-Punta Piedra (Lomas del Zapallal) route.

The presence of these buses will represent a measurable saving and a very important profitability for the transport’s sector. The company directory‘s president, Dimas Aliaga, specified that, by this way, the firm will save among 100 and 200 Soles per day, and the number will reach around 3200 soles at the end of the month, the businessman added.

As the NGV helps to the environmental preservation, the firm counts with the Lima’s City Town Council endorsement.

In this first stage others 20 ecologic buses will be add to the first delivery, and others 20 will arrive in the following months in order to complete the total of San Felipe buses’  fleet renovation.

To encourage this fuel, Aliaga, announced that they will offer free of charge trips to the users during three days, as soon as the buses’ full delivery is completed.

One of the mainly news of these buses is that they present two LCD screens in the front and middle part of the bus, which will show several spots during the trip about environmental preservation and ecologic conscience, with the purpose of teach people about management of resources, increase the population’s culture trough environmental education for all users.
