From Lima, to the world: NGV builds its future
A thorough outlook of the Peruvian and the Latin American NGV markets will be the topic of the II ExpoGNV Perú 2009 conferences and round tables.
The political commitment of government administration will be reflected in the presentations made by four ministries: Energy and Mines, Transport and Communications, Production, and Environment.
The main actors from credit and regulatory bodies involved in the Peruvian NGV sector will also speak: OSINERGMIN (Supervising Body for Energy and Mining Investment), represented by Alfredo Dammert Lira, Chairman of the Board, and on behalf of COFIDE (Development Finance Corporation), Carlos Paredes, Business Management Executive.
Also, the President of the Latin American Association for NGV, R. Fernandes, will provide a general and particular view on the markets of the region, effects of the crisis and the present challenges.
The Peruvian market is characterized by the presence of numerous OEMs which sell NGVs with different functions and models. To that effect, two round tables have been set up for them to introduce their products and programs. For "Buses and Heavy-Duty transport”, Hyundai, Iveco, Modasa and Daewoo have been invited. On the other hand, Fiat, Nissan, GM and Volkswagen have been formally requested to take part in the “Light-Duty Transport” panel.
